Stoney Lake is truly one of Ontario’s prize lakes. Just a short drive north of Peterborough, Stoney Lake is known for its many rocky islands and fragrant pine trees. On the eastern section of the Lake in a small town known as Crowes Landing which is host to the Irwin Inn. With extremely friendly staff, exquisite accomodations, and one of the nicest pieces of property on the lake, it is an excellent choice for your wedding. Favourite photo locations include the sandy beaches and rocks along the shore, wooden docks, the fabulous architecture of the main suites, as well as the quiet country roads leading into the resort. Every season paints the resort beautifully.
When Karen and Jeremy decided to host their wedding here, I was of course thrilled. It is always a pleasure to shoot on this property and working with Karen and Jeremy was an absolute privilege. They are an amazing couple.
