Thonbury Wedding Meaford Wedding Blue Mountain Wedding Lora Bay Wedding: Jenn and Craig's Amazing Wedding Adventure
There are so many beautiful locations in southern Georgian Bay. Even better than shooting at one of these locations is shooting at no less than 4 gorgeous locations at a single wedding. Jenn and Craig's amazing wedding adventure began with a skeet shooting session in the Blue Mountains where the guys were getting ready. No hearing protection, no skeet throwing machine, just a hand held skeet thrower, some cold beers, and good friends: a truly Canadian start to this epic day. After taking the groomsmen across the road to the neighbouring farm where the seat of one groomsman's pants split entirely open, it was off to the ceremony site at Christie Beach, near Lora Bay Golf Club, where the girl's were getting ready.
The setting for the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Over the past few years, the once receding water level of Georgian Bay has been quickly rising, but we were left with just enough beach above water for a truly stunning ceremony and initial photography location. It was a location truly deserving of the spectacular weather we had that day.
From here, we traveled to the main beach below Lora Bay Golf Club (the wedding party enjoying a nostalgic and amazing trip over in a yellow school bus) where rocky breakwaters provide both shelter for boats and a beautiful spot for wedding party photos. From here, it was over to an abandoned apple orchard where apples still cling to the branches and then to the bridge and river by Thornbury's waterfront. It was an amazing day and one of my favourite weddings of all time. Thank you Jenn and Craig!
