Wasaga Beach Engagement Photography

Lisa and Brendan chose to have their engagement session in the winter along the shores of Georgian Bay, on Woodland Beach, just north of Wasaga Beach, and in Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Woodland Beach is particularly beautiful at any time of year as it is always a lot quieter than the main beaches of Wasaga.  Lisa and Brendan are both avid snowboarders, as you may have guessed from the photos, and bringing their boards allowed us to shoot some really stylish magazine-style portraits for their session with the Blue Mountains in the distance. While most people are familiar with Wasaga Beach’s gorgeous sand beaches and the provincial park offices along its 13km length, some may not know that Wasaga Beach Provincial Park also has giant tracts of forest further away from Georgian Bay.  In fact, the park operates a fully groomed nordic centre in the winter, and beyond its trails are acres and acres of ungroomed trails full of deer and other wildlife.  This is where the second part of our session took place.
