September is the Perfect Time for Portraits at the Beach

After what has been the summer with more rain than I can remember in my lifetime, we are suddenly blessed with mid summer temperatures and beautiful blue skies.  Even at this time of the year, it’s not too late to capture bright and airy portraits by the water.  The following series of family portraits was captured at Craigleith Provincial Park just north of Collingwood.  The wonderful thing about Georgian Bay is that there are an abundance of excellent photography sites along the water for every level of adventure, from the rocky and historic shores of Collingwood, to the endless stretches of beach and nightlife in Wasaga Beach, to the powdery white sands along the eastern shore and north to Awenda Provincial Park. Let’s pick and spot and get out there together.  Portrait sessions this fall are just $279+tax for up to an hour of shooting including a DVD of edited high resolution images with copyright release.
